WATCHING YOUR PLANTS GROW
As kids, we get excited about heading off to school. We don’t need to have our parents keep a constant eye on us, as much. We still need some support, but, it’s not like it was when we were younger.
We are not adults, but, we are not little babies, either. We can’t wait for the chance to grow and experience the world, by ourselves. To make new friends and to become more independent.
It’s the same for plants, too. They are not little seedlings, anymore. Yet, they still need you to look over them. But, as they get older, it’s not the same.
HOW CAN YOU TELL YOUR PLANTS ARE GROWING UP
It’s quite simple, really. As your plants grow more leaves, they are growing up. As they develop more mass to weather the rougher conditions, they are growing up. This is what is known as the vegetation phase. The goal is to keep guiding them. They need to have the proper lighting. They need to have healthy leaves, both on top and on the undersides.
HELP THEM STAND THEIR GROUND
Yes, they are growing up, but, they still need you. They need you to direct them. It’s not just about your plants having the right lighting or the right nutrients. You need to protect them from the bullies. Think of it, as you would a child.
The bullies are still going to be there. You may not fight their battles for them. But, you need to be there, in case a bully attacks. Keeping the insects and bugs away is part of that.
You need to help protect them from outside forces. You need to show them the way. It’s the same way as raising a child. You can’t fight the battle for them, but, you can teach them how to stand their ground.
When you use a spray, to keep the bullies away, it will show them who are the bad guys. This way, they can protect themselves more. The more care you give them, the more they will stand on their own. It’s the same as with a child.
GET TO THEM RIGHT AWAY
Whatever problems come up, help your plants. You are teaching your plants to tackle problems, right away. Don’t teach them to put things off. Which is why, you need to get them the right soil, right away. Get them the right nutrients, right away. Fight of the fungus and mold, right away. Don’t let the problems build.
Your vegetation takes in more then you know. They can sense how you react to things and they will follow suit. Be a good parent to your plants, so they grow up strong. Never be over-protective with your plants, but, never do the opposite, either. Find a nice middle ground, you won’t go wrong.
